Zurich is the largest city and the commercial centre of Switzerland. Zurich has 380’000 inhabitants and is located on lake Zurich. The city has en excellent public transport system and most sightseeing places are situated in the centre and within walking distance. In summer a lot of lovely street cafés and beautiful places to relax are waiting to be discovered on the lakefront or along the riverside.

Zurich is not only one of the most important commercial centres of the world but also the cultural capital of Switzerland, lifestyle paired with booming, cutting-edge nightlife. There are many little shops and boutiques in the city centre with an interesting range of clothes and accessories. And in around 400 bars and 70 clubs revellers celebrate together with local and international musicians and DJs a nightlife culture on an outstanding level. Many galleries, museums, cinemas and theatres are part of the extensive range of cultural activites of the city of Zurich.
